Arts in the Basic Curriculum
Project

The goal of the ABC Project is to “ensure that every child
in South Carolina, from pre-school through college levels, has access
to a quality, comprehensive education in the arts, including dance,
drama, music, visual arts and creative writing. The Arts In Basic
Curriculum (ABC) Project is cooperatively directed by the South
Carolina Arts Commission, the South Carolina Department of Education
and the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Winthrop University."
Center for Creative Resources

"The Center for Creative Resources was founded in 2003 by Victor
Gotesman and Noel Hayashi, and grew out of their mutual passion
for the arts and a belief that the creation of art is not a choice
for artists, but a necessity. They recognize the power of the arts

and enlightened place. Having spent the last thirty years working
professionally as arts administrators, Victor and Noel believe that

DC Arts and Humanities Education

Lincoln Center Institute for

National Arts and Learning
Collaborative at Walnut Hill

“NALC is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming
our nation's schools by providing students with opportunities to
learn in and through the arts in schools. NALC works to develop,
implement, and evaluate model programs incorporating the arts into
urban school districts where the needs are greatest. This includes

artists, arts and cultural organizations, businesses, and institutions
of higher education. NALC is committed to sustaining these efforts
through broad community involvement and support, establishing the
arts as part of the regular curriculum, committing to long term

Perpich Center for Arts Education
